an Easter visit to the farm

We went to the farm for Easter weekend. It is still for sale, in case you are wondering. 🙂 So much has changed in a month’s time. Check out my Flikr Photostream to see all my photos.

Tomatoes and cucumbers have been planted in the greenhouse, along with some bell peppers, onions, and cabbage.

Among the finds: apple tree buds,

blueberry bush buds,

leaves on the raspberry vines,

a few open blossoms on the apricot tree.

All of these perennials were re-emerging: lily of the valley,

peony bushes,

poppies,

rhubarb.

And some of the favorites of the kids – violets

and dandelions.

Still no sign of asparagus…maybe next week?

Such a beautiful weekend. Hated to see it end. Until next time…
